The Southern California Beach Club is located right on the beach in Oceanside just south of the pier. Most days you will look out your window to see crashing waves, beach cruisers and volleyball players. The second floor beach side rooms include a balcony looking out over the Pacific Ocean, and the first floor rooms have a porch that is less than a stones throw from the sand. The rooms are not modern by any means but they are clean and nicely decorated. Lets be honest though, if you're at the Southern California Beach Club you're not there to stay inside all day.Amenities:

This hotel is close to the beach and has pretty nice and clean rooms but they could use some updating. The parking is really tight though and I have a big SUV so parking was kind of tricky. The staff were friendly and I could see the ocean from my room. It is also in walking distance to a lot of restaurants.

Beautiful view from my room, and I like how it had a cottage feel to it. But I must agree, the decorations are a bit outdated. At least the staff was friendly. It was nice to be greeted right away.

Really cool hotel! The staff was amazing, the room was ON THE FREAKIN BEACH! We even got to know the other guests next door and around the resort. The rooms were very clean and had everything that we needed. The front office manager was very helpful when I told her it was a special stay.
I will be back!!
